Notes by Hazel

Last night was better than my first night; longer (about 1 hour) and more drifty. By letting my thoughts play themselves out I was able to paddle past them, like paddling past rapids out into an estuary. I was also able to minimize discomfort by slowly shifting position as parts of my legs and feet desired. Instead of the hard floor I sat regular crosslegged on an old piece of packing foam that was laying around. My 'office' is also a storage room and there it was, a perfect 'cushion', so I went for it. After 2 nights this schedule thing is proving very rewarding for me and I'm not even accomplishing less other stuff!
