Wenlin
This is a link to the home page of Wenlin Institute, which offers excellent software for learning the Chinese language. At their site you can view what's included in their software as well as downloading a demo of it for free.

This is the only Chinese software I've found that works for Mac computers, but it's offered for Windows as well.

The software includes a complete Chinese / English dictionary with Traditional, Simplified and some primitive Chinese characters. It contains references to Karlgren, Lindqvist, Wieger, and the Shuowen. It also includes strokes and vocal pronunciations of the Chinese characters.
